Projektbeschreibung:

Die Milchquotenregelung wurde nach den Beschlüssen der EU-Agrarkommission von 26. Juni 2003 bis zum Jahr 2014 verlängert. Wie die Milchmarktordnung im Rahmen der Modulation und Entkoppelung in Deutschland ausgestaltet wird, ist nicht absehbar. Im Rahmen des Forschungsvorhabens werden darum verschiedene Szenarien zur Ausgestaltung der Milchmarktordnung erarbeitet und analysiert. Schwerpunkt des Forschungsprojekts ist die Abschätzung der Folgen der erarbeiteten Szenarien für die bayerische Milchwirtschaft. Im einzelnen soll hinterfragt werden, wie sich die wirtschaftliche Lage, der Umfang der Milchproduktion, die regionale Standortverteilung und die strukturellen Bedingungen für die Milchviehbetriebe verändert.

The Future Development of Milk Production in Bavaria under Different Scenarios of the European Milk Marketing System until 2014
The milk quota system was extended on the 26th of June 2003 by the European Agriculture Commission until 2014. How the milk market system is going to be rearranged under the conditions of cross compliance in Germany is not foreseeable. In the course of this research project different scenarios for the designs of the milk market regulations are going to be developed and analysed. The focus will be to measure the effects that the different scenarios have on the Bavarian milk farmers. The following will be analysed in detail: the economic situation, how many producer will survive and where, how much milk will be produced in 2014 and how the structural conditions for the milk farmers will change.
