Research

Predominantly, the chair is engaged with research projects which exhibit a strong empirical orientation and are embedded in well-founded theoretical frameworks. Especially when dealing with issues associated with environmental aspects and technological limitations the chair favors interdisciplinary approaches and research alliances. This continuously leads to intense collaboration with other TUM chairs and beyond, establishing long term liaisons with departments of highly ranked universities and research institutes at national and international level.
