Renmin University of China
Located in the Haidian District, Beijing, Renmin University of China is supported by the Ministry of Education's "Project 985" and “Project 211” programs and is considered as the leading university in the humanities and social sciences in China. The School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development was founded in 1954 and was selected as the national key department in 1988. The school offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in the areas of rural development, agricultural economics, forestry and resource economics, agribusiness and management, and food safety and sciences. Our collaborator, Associate Professor Jing You, focuses on development economics and applied microeconomics in the area of poverty, social protection, and rural-urban migration in China.
