At the end of October, the members of the OECD Network on Agricultural Total Factor Productivity and the Environment, which develops methods for agricultural productivity measurement taking into account environmental effects, met at the University of Maryland. The Chair Group of Production and Resource Economics was represented by Maria Vrachioli. She presented results of her current research on the "Footprint of Agricultural Water Use in the TFP Framework" and discussed recent methodological developments with the network's experts.
