Every year, the fiat panis Foundation, which is committed to improving the nutritional situation in the southern hemisphere, honours the authors of outstanding theses in the field of world nutrition with the Hans Hartwig Ruthenberg Graduate Award. Among the 2020 winners is Roberto Villalba, who in his master's thesis entitled "The 'Uberization' of agricultural mechanization services: The case of EM3 Agri Services in Rajasthan, India" assessed the potential of digital tools with regard to access of smallholders to mechanization and food security.
