Funded by the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion (SGC) Professor Sauer and Stefan Wimmer spend seven days in Hangzhou in order to finalise a research proposal that is prepared in cooperation with the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) of the Zhejiang University. As part of their stay in China the TUM researchers already had a meeting with Dr. Jürgen Ritter, the CEO of the German-Sino Agricultural Center (DCZ) and his colleagues to concretise collaboration plans. They planned a workshop that is going to be held in Beijing with representatives of science, politics and the private sector.
