As part of the chair group's international strategy Professor Sauer and Emmanuel Benjamin spend five days in Egypt. They will meet with representatives of the universities of Cairo and Heliopolis to discuss cooperation possibilities. Further, Professor Sauer will give a public lecture concerning the topic "Smart Agriculture in Arid Regions“. This event is organised by the DAAD cluster COSIMENA (Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa) and theTUM Liaison Office Cairo.
