The Farm-Level Analysis Network (FLAN), of which Professor Sauer has been a member for several years, was founded in 2008 under the auspices of the OECD. Since then, it has brought together experts from government institutions and agricultural research institutes involved in the collection and analysis of farm-level data. The aim is to improve data at the micro level and thus promote the development of supportive frameworks for agriculture. The network also advises the OECD Committee for Agriculture (CoAg).

At the 30th network meeting, which took place on November 7 in a hybrid format, Professor Sauer gave a presentation entitled "Measurement of Resilience using Farm-level Data”.
