On November 7-8 the 32nd Meeting of the OECD’s Farm Level Analyses Network (FLAN) took place in Paris. The FLAN, established in 2008 under the auspices of the OECD, unites experts from government-related institutions and agricultural research institutes, who are working on the collection and analysis of micro farm-level data. The goal of the collaborative network is to improve the quality and relevance of agricultural policy analysis by sharing practical applications and discussing policy and methodological challenges. The network provides guidance to the OECD Committee for Agriculture (CoAg).
Professor Sauer, who has been a longstanding member of the FLAN participated in the event in person and gave a presentation about ongoing work led by Philipp Mennig regarding “Animal Diseases and Farms’ Economic Resilience in France & Estonia”.
