The LEAP (Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance) Partnership is a multi-stakeholder initiative hosted by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) that develops evidence-based methodology and recommendations with the overall goal to improve the environmental performance of livestock supply chains.
Professor Sauer has been elected as a member of the FAO LEAP Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on ecosystem services, which brings together experts from academia, the private sectors, CSOs and NGOs.
