Since more than 45 years spring and summer academies are the core of the non-material support of the program of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, an organisation for the promotion of talented students. Intensive work, renowned lecturers, particular locations and free space for creativity - all of that makes the academies the central event format of the Studienstiftung.
In the municipality of Olang in South Tyrol, Professor Sauer leads a working group of the academy at the beginning of September. The working group deals with the topic "Technology, Productivity and Resource Efficiency - Empirical Approaches".
