On October 16, 2023, Prof. Sauer participated in the event “Indian and German perspectives on the utilization of advanced production technologies” organized by the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and RWTH Aachen University at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in New Delhi. Prof. Sauer presented a keynote speech on Productivity, Technology, and Finance to address Climate Change in Indian Agriculture, during which he emphasized the ongoing collaboration between the Chair of Agricultural Production and Resource Economics and Indian institutions through the VCFCSA project and TUM GIF Funds.

The presentation was followed by a panel discussion that connected TUM alumni with stakeholders on the topic of Indian and German perspectives on utilization of advanced production technologies.
