Professor Sauer will be meeting with colleagues from the Chongqing University in China to explore research cooperation possibilities. Located in Southwest China and being one of China's four direct-controlled municipalities, Chongqing is home for around 30 million people. The city is the region’s industrial and cultural heart. Its main university, Chongqing University, is one of the ten universities of the Excellence League China.

In the course of his stay, Professor Sauer will present the chair’s research activities and take part at excursions in order to get an impression of resource use and agriculture in the region.
