As part of the Chair's internationalization efforts, Prof. Dr. Sauer and Stefan Wimmer will fly to Beijing to explore possible cooperations with Chinese research institutes and universities. In addition to project meetings at the Renmin University, School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, the agenda includes visits at the German Embassy and at the German-Sino Agricultural Center of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ). The overall aim of the trip, which is supported by the TUM Global Incentive Fund 2017, is to establish a long-term cooperation with the Renmin University in the fields of research and teaching.
