After successful visits in India and Nepal in November 2016 and March 2017, Prof. Dr. Sauer and Sebastian Weber will be travelling to India again between September 18 and 25, 2017. An additional stop will be in Bangladesh.
The main purpose of the trip is the development of the chair’s cooperation with the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) South Asia. As part of this, several meetings and workshops, also with other/new partners, as well as a fieldtrip to a Climate-Smart Village in Bangladesh (Khulna region) are planned.
This trip is the concluding support received by the TUM Global Incentive Fund 2016 initiative.
