Since the first European Workshop on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis (EWEPA) was held in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, in 1989, it quickly become the leading biennial conference devoted to the methodology and application of productivity, efficiency and performance analysis of organisations. EWEPA 2019 takes place in London from June 10 to June 13. The Chair Group of Production and Resource Economics is represented by Maria Vrachioli, Denitsa Angelova and Orlando Rodriguez who all present results of their respective research. Their presentations are entitled "Impact of conservation agricultural practices on irrigation performance: The case of smallholders in India“ (Vrachioli), “Weather volatility and crop production” (Angelova) und “Technical efficiency of coffee production in the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape: The role of payments for environmental services” (Rodriguez).
