The flagship conference of the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) is held every three years and attracts about a thousand colleagues from around the world. The 30th conference took place on Canada's West Coast, in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, July 28 - August 2. As representatives of the Chair Group of Agricultural Production and Resource Economics Fabian Frick and Lucian Stanca presented their work. The contribution of Fabian Frick was entitled "Innovation and Productivity in the Food vs. the High-Tech Manufacturing Sector". Lucian Stanca presented his research results concerning the topic "An implementation of the calibration approach for estimators at regional level".
