The TUM Global Incentive Fund allowed Professor Sauer and Stefan Wimmer to spend another week in China (16-23/8) exploring new and intensifying existing cooperations. This time they visited the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) in Beijing as well as the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) of the Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. Together with Chinese colleagues the TUM researchers worked on project proposals to secure third-party funding and planned a sustainable cooperation strategy. In order to strengthen their bonds, longer research stays will be arranged for the beginning of 2019.
