What is a Project Study?

• A dynamic research or practical project conducted by a student team at TUM, under the expert supervision and collaboration of CEM.
• Companies define the project scope and provide students with the necessary information to execute the project effectively.
• Teams can consist of up to 5 dedicated individuals.
• Project duration options include 6 months (half-time) or 3 months (full-time).

How it works:

1. Define Your Project Scope: Start by outlining the objectives and scope of your project. Clearly define the problem statement, goals, and desired outcomes. Send it to us and let's finalize it together. The more detailed your project brief, the better equipped our students will be to tackle the challenge. 

2. Provide Necessary Information: Equip our student teams with all relevant data, resources, and access needed to effectively carry out the project. This includes any proprietary information, datasets, software tools, or industry insights crucial for the project's success.

3. Engage with Student Teams: Once your project is defined and briefed, our team will match you with a group of motivated students from TUM. You'll have the opportunity to review their profiles and select the team that best aligns with your project requirements.

4. Collaborative Work Sessions: Throughout the project duration, maintain regular communication with the student team. Schedule periodic check-ins, brainstorming sessions, and progress updates to ensure alignment and address any challenges that may arise.

5. Guidance and Support: Rest assured, our academic staff will provide continuous support and guidance to the student teams. Drawing from our wealth of domain knowledge and experience, we'll assist them in navigating complexities, refining strategies, and delivering impactful results.

6. Review and Feedback: Stay actively involved in the project's progress. Provide constructive feedback and insights at key milestones, including the kick-off meeting, mid-term results presentation, and final presentation.

7. Celebrate Success: As the project nears completion, celebrate the achievements and milestones attained. Reflect on the journey, lessons learned, and the value generated through collaborative efforts.
